User management

If you want to onboard users or offboard users, then you need to create a ticket in the DSH Support Portal. The sections below describe how you can do this.

Onboard users

Take the steps below if you want to onboard a new user:

  1. Click the “Support” button in the menu bar of the DSH Console. Log in to the DSH Support Portal if necessary.
  2. Click “New support ticket” next to the search bar.
  3. Fill out the following fields:
    • Tenant: Enter the name of your tenant.
    • Platform: In the dropdown menu, select a platform that you want to onboard a user to.
    • Requester: Enter your email address, or use the prefilled address of your account for the DSH Support Portal.
    • Company: In the dropdown menu, select the company that you want to onboard a user for.
    • Subject: Enter ‘Onboard new user’ as a subject.
    • Contents: Provide the information that is listed in the table below.
    • Attach a file: Optionally, you can provide the information in a file and attach it to the ticket.
  4. Click “Submit” to send the request. A platform administrator will process it.

The platform administrator needs the information listed below to add a user. Provide the information in the “Contents” field of your ticket, or in an attached file.

Email

Enter the email address of the new user.

Platforms

Enter the platforms where you want to onboard the new user.

Tenants

Enter the tenants that the user needs access to.

Offboard users

Take the steps below if you want to onboard a new user:

  1. Click the “Support” button in the menu bar of the DSH Console. Log in to the DSH Support Portal if necessary.

    • Tenant: Enter the name of your tenant.
    • Platform: In the dropdown menu, select a platform that you want to offboard a user from.

    • Company: In the dropdown menu, select the company that you want to offboard a user for.
    • Subject: Enter ‘Offboard user’ as a subject.
    • Contents: Provide the information that is listed in the table below.
    • Attach a file: Optionally, you can provide the information in a file and attach it to the ticket.
  4. Click “Submit” to send the request. A platform administrator will process it.
Field Description
Email

Enter the email address of the new user.

Platforms

Enter the platforms where you want to offboard the new user.

Tenants

Enter the tenants for which you want to revoke the user's access.

API key

Indicate whether you want to rotate the API key ("Yes"/"No"), and if so, when you want to rotate it (date and time).

S3 bucket access

Indicate whether you want to rotate the access credentials for s3 buckets ("Yes"/"No"), and if so, when you want to rotate them (date and time).

VPN password

Indicate whether you want to rotate the VPN password ("Yes"/"No"), and if so, when you want to rotate it (date and time).

Reset password and MFA

If you have a user account other than Grip, then you can reset your password and multi-factor authentication (MFA) by following the link below:

Once signed in, you can navigate to “Account security” > “Signing in”, and configure the following:

  • Password
  • Authenticator application
  • Passkey
